Jericho - Palestine, North West of the Dead Sea, Middle
East - Jericho is one of the oldest known agricultural settlements. It
is said to have existed as early as 8000 BCE. Dwellings in
Jericho were built from mud brick. The city was also enclosed by a
several foot thick mud brick wall.
